...I'm about to put my fist through my monitors, becuae I can't get Avid XPress DV to work!

Does ANYONE know how to set up a media drive in Avid Xpress DV?!? It keeps saying I don't have one... and won't allow me to import any clips, when my media drive is my C:\ drive!!

I've been editing with premiere for about 4/5 years now, and wanted to learn Avid... but this is taking the proverbial p**s!

Please help... if only to save the life of my screen!

I don't know for sure, but it sounds like it won't let you capture/edit footage on your system drive which is vaguely sensible.

Does it work for a separate physical drive or another partition?

There's always the helpfile ....
